The Honda TRX520 ATV has a separately suspended rear suspension, electronic fuel injection and a dual-clutch DCT transmission. In an automated DCT transmission, the next gear is always pre-selected and shifting takes place at exactly the right speed at milliseconds. The driver can choose whether the ATV shifts independently or whether the gears are changed using the handle buttons. The DCT transmission is practically an automated manual transmission, the benefits of which are best seen in bad places and when towing a heavy load. Equally, in normal use, the DCT transmission is very comfortable and extremely easy to use. There is also a reduction gear in the transmission, with which it is remarkably easy to progress in particularly difficult terrain. The reverse gear is now engaged with an electronic selector, which improves usability, for example when working on snow.
The new luggage racks can withstand higher payloads and the new storage compartments make it easier to keep small items clean and dry. The engine is bigger than before and, above all, the torque it produces has increased significantly. Combined with the updated settings of the DCT transmission, driving the Honda TRX520FA6 is even easier.
